Bead caps are used in jewellery making to add a bit of sparkle and extra detail to a piece of jewellery and to liven up beads.

They come in a wide range of sizes, designs and metals allowing you to select ones that are just right for your design.

Bead caps are also known as flower caps, this is due to how their design sometimes has the appearance of flowers.

Bead caps are concave meaning they are perfect at fitting snuggly around a bead. To use a bead cap simply thread it onto you thread or wire so that the concave side is facing the bead. Add the bead and finish with a second bead cap, threading it on so that it too fits snuggly around the bead.

Continue adding the bead caps on your piece of jewellery until you get to your desired length. Finish the jewellery as usual.
